No problemo. The new plugin should also work for putting up videos from other sites, too, like Revver, iFilms, AtomFilms, and so on.

Ask and you shall receive. We added a new plugin to more easily handle embedding video on the blogs. Click on the “Plugins” tab in your admin account, and activate the Anarchy Media Player. This should allow you to handle MySpace videos on your blog. It’s as simple as copying and pasting the URL. Best regards.

Thanks for the info, rick. I can get Youtube video to work, but this video is hosted on myspace. Have you embedded that kind of video before? I’m having no luck with it.

There’s a trick to embedding video.

In the backend, go to Users, scroll to the bottom of the page, on the left — unclick “Use the visual rich editor when writing” then go back into the post and insert the embed code and hit publish.

If you want you can leave off the rich text editor, but if you want it on just remember that it needs to be turned off when you want to embed video or edit an older post that already has video.
